Pool Leak Detection


Florida Leak Locators will come to your home and use our highly sensitive electronic equipment to locate your pool leak. Using audio transmitters that bounce high or low frequency waves off main or lateral water lines, one of our skilled technicians will determine where the pool leak or leaks are and how deep they are.

We do a complete visual inspection of the pool and then static test and if needed pressure test the lines (no additional charge) in the pool to pinpoint any leaks.  We will dive the pool in hot or cold weather if needed.  All our trained technicians have wet and dry suits.
 
In the majority of pools (close to 90%) we are able to repair the leaks using a special underwater epoxy or hydraulic cement which is included in your upfront price.  We give a 35 day warranty after we leave that your leak has been fixed (See our FAQ page for more information on our guarantee).  If your pool needs a major repair such as a broken line, structural crack injection, skimmer replacement or main drain replacement we will give you or your contractor a written detailed quote for the repair.  If you choose to have us do the work we give a $100.00 discount for having the leak test with us.

We are going to search intensely until we find that ever evasive leak.  One inch a day water loss in a standard sized pool amounts to several hundred gallons of wasted water per day.  Did you know in some areas of North Carolina it has been mandatory to have your pools checked for leaks because of drought conditions?  We are the leader when it comes to finding leaks in the Tampa Bay, Sarasota, and Pinellas County area. Many of the large pool companies and other leak detection companies call us when they are stumped and can't find the leak.
 

By finding the leak, the savings in your utility costs will end up paying for our service as well as put money back into your pocket instead of down the drain or leaking into the ground.  If you are on city or county water, we can send you a letter detailing what was found.  Some of the utility companies may work with you to get a partial refund back on your bill.
